Disability SA is a Division of Transformation Integrated Africa - an active champion, advocate and supporter of the disability cause in South Africa.  We are part of the Employment Equity at Work Group - founded in 2009.

We understand that Persons with disabilities have historically been invisible in the human rights system and have been overlooked in human rights work. We agree with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) and the view that this is no longer acceptable. We join forces with organisations and persons who are serious about making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities and we invite such organisations and individuals to network with us to strengthen this very important cause.  Our goals and work are fully aligned with local and international obligations, and we work hard to ensure that the rights of people with disabilities are promoted, protected and that people with disabilities can enjoy full and equal participation in society.
